The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins at its youth. There is a citric freshness at play here, although it needs to flesh out a little on the slightly brusque, chalky finish.

Damien produces a very elegant Grand Cru Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay: Blanc de Blancs. The Champagne matures for about 30-36 months on the lees. It’s pure finesse, soft, and round on the palate.
