The 2018 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune presents aromas of cherries and cassis, accented by subtle new oak notes. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a deep and fleshy palate, with a rich fruit core, powdery tannins, and vibrant acidity. While still youthful and primary, it shows promise, although it was yet to be bottled at the time of tasting.
